Moundridge CF to host Match Day November 6

Match Day on Thursday, November 6 holds an incredible opportunity for six participating organizations. On that day, Moundridge Community Foundation will match donations made to their endowment funds giving each organization an opportunity at $3000 in matching funds.

Here’s how Match Day works:

  • Come to the event and make a donation.

Date:                     Thursday, November 6
Time:                    7 am – 6 pm
Place:                   Northridge Community Center, Moundridge

  • The 2014 match pool of $15,000 is provided by the Moundridge Community Foundation.
  • The match pool will be divided in proportion to the total amount raised on November 6. For example, if $50,000 is raised and our organization brought in 10% of the total donations, we will receive $1,500 to use for immediate needs or add to the endowment fund.  ($3,000 max per organization – prizes are outside this limit)
  • Minimum donation amount to be matched is $25. There is no limit on the amount of funding donors may contribute to our organization’s endowed fund.
  • Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted. Only gifts made on November 6 will count toward match day totals.
  • We’re also eligible for prizes if we have the largest number of donors giving during designated times throughout the day. Call us for details. Prize funds are made possible by Mid-Kansas Credit Union and The Citizens State Bank.

PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS:

Please remember: for any gift to count for a match the donation must be made on November 6.


 

Match Day Incentive Prizes: $2,000.00

Match day also offers a special opportunity for the organizations to receive additional grant dollars based on the number of donor attending. Below are the designated times for available prize dollars. The prizes were made possible by The Citizens State Bank & Mid-Kansas Credit Union.                                                                                 

  • Get the party started: 7 am – 9 am

$500 will be awarded to the organization receiving the most donors giving donations of $25 or more through the site from 7 am – 9 am.  (Each donor will be counted only once. Participating organizations may contribute, but do not count as a donor.)

  • Lunch Bonanza: 11 am – 1 pm

$500 will be awarded to the organization receiving the most donors giving donations of $25 or more through the site from 11 am – 1 pm. (Each donor will be counted only once. Participating organizations may contribute, but do not count as a donor.)

  • Afternoon Blitz: 2 pm – 3 pm

$500 will be awarded to the organization receiving the most donors giving donations of $25 or more through the site from 2 pm – 3 pm. (Each donor will be counted only once. Participating organizations may contribute, but do not count as a donor.)

  • Happy Hour: 4 pm – 6 pm

$500 will be awarded to the organization receiving the most donors giving donations of $25 or more through the site from 4 pm – 6 pm. (Each donor will be counted only once. Participating organizations may contribute, but do not count as a donor.)
