26 Mar Foundation to Host Grant Writing Seminar
The McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF) will host a grant writing seminar on Wednesday, April 15, from 12 to 1 p.m. at the MCCF office.
This free session is open to McPherson County nonprofits and community groups that regularly apply, or plan to apply, for MCCF grants. Attendance is limited to 15 participants and is especially encouraged for individuals and organizations who may not fully understand how or why grants are awarded.
During the seminar, MCCF Director of Community Services Betsy Davis will walk participants through the foundation’s grant process and share practical tips to help strengthen future applications. While the session focuses on MCCF grants, the strategies discussed can be applied to many other funding opportunities.
The seminar will also cover how the foundation views AI use in grant writing, including what qualifies as appropriate and ethical use. Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of what information is expected when applying for grants and how to better prepare their submissions.
Because space is limited, interested participants are asked to complete a short sign-up form. Sign up today!
