14 May Education Foundation Provides grants to McPherson Teachers

The McPherson Education Foundation has completed its grants for the 2025–26 fiscal year. Throughout the year, the Foundation provided McPherson school teachers with more than $20,000 in grants to support classroom programs and supply needs.
Each year, the foundation offers teachers the opportunity to apply for classroom grants. These grants are designed to support projects and resources that may fall outside a school’s regular budget. Applications are accepted once a year and are reviewed and approved by the McPherson Education Foundation Board.
2025-26 grant recipients:
- $2,095 – TI-30x Calculator acquisition
- $4,515 – Balanced Classroom Technology Access
- $1,005 – Extending Literacy through Theater
- $1,780 iPads for math instruction
- $2,300 Battle of the Books
- $625 Enhancing Student learning and Craftsmanship through High Quality Ceramic Glaze
- $865 Reality U
- $4,220 Play with Purpose: Building Skills through Play Club
- $400- Wishing tree book- Washington Elementary
- $1300- Care Closet to the Elementary, MS, and HS
- $440 SEL Intervention Requests
The Foundation will share updates on these grants during the 2026-27 school year.
