18 Jun Foundation in the House! Open Office hours in County Communties
The McPherson County Community Foundation is making it easier than ever for residents to connect with Foundation staff through a new series of community office hours that will take place throughout McPherson County this year.
Beginning July 14, a rotating cast of MCCF staff will visit communities across the county, providing opportunities for residents to stop in, ask questions and learn more about the Foundation’s work. The office hours are open to anyone interested in learning about the Foundation, current opportunities or ways to support causes they care about.
Those stopping by will also get a free coffee to drink during their conversation.
Whether someone is interested in applying for a grant, establishing a scholarship, supporting a local nonprofit or just wants to learn more on MCCF’s work, Foundation staff will be available to provide information and answer questions in a casual, one-on-one setting.
“Our goal is to make the Foundation accessible to everyone in McPherson County,” said Betsy Davis, Director of Community Services said “By bringing office hours directly into our communities, we’re creating more opportunities for residents to learn about the resources available through the Foundation and how we can help them make an impact.”
MCCF encourages community members, nonprofit leaders, donors and anyone curious about its work to stop by during the scheduled time. No appointment is necessary.

- July 14 — Lindsborg, – White Peacock – 10 a.m. to noon
- July 28 — McPherson, – Craft Coffee – 10 a.m. to noon
- Aug. 11 — Marquette, – City Sundries – 10 a.m. to noon
- Aug. 25 — Canton, – TBD – 10 a.m. to noon
- Sept. 8 — Inman, – Light House Coffee- 10 a.m. to noon
- Sept. 22 — McPherson, – Craft Coffee – 10 a.m. to noon
- Oct. 13 — Moundridge, – The Hub – 10 a.m. to noon
- Oct. 27 — Windom, – Windom Senior Center – 8 to 9 a.m.
- Nov. 10 — Galva, – Tin Roof Pantry – 10 a.m. to noon
- Nov. 17 — McPherson, – Craft Coffee – 10 a.m. to noon
