11 Apr $59,000 in grant funds available
The McPherson County Community Foundation announced Friday $59,000 in grant funds are still available for distribution to nonprofit organizations, churches, schools and other programs that serve the McPherson County area. The goal is to distribute the funds by August 31, 2014, the end of the Foundation’s current fiscal year.
Applications for programs, projects, capacity building, community development and capital campaigns are types of request eligible to receive funding. A focus on children, youth and health initiatives are the priority for the funds available. Since September 2013, grant funds totaling $47,500 have been distributed for local projects.
