McPherson County Community Foundation Announces Scholarship Recipients

The McPherson County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the individuals selected to receive scholarships from various funds administered by the McPherson County Community Foundation. The following scholarships are being awarded for the 2015-2016 school year.  Recipients may use the funds for tuition, books, or educational expenses.

Paul W. Davis Scholarship – $1,000

Riley Burghart, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Biochemical Engineering at Kansas State University.

First United Methodist Church Scholarships – $1,000 each

Dalyn Chapman, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Nursing at Fort Hays State University.

Nicole Gieselman, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in English and International Relations at Arcadia University.

Raleigh Insurance Scholarship – $500

Daniel Corn, a graduate of Inman High School, plans to major in Wildlife Conservation and Management at Hutchinson Community College.

Hanson Family Educational Scholarship – $1,000

Stephanie Farney, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Engineering at Kansas State University.

Inman Alumni Scholarship – $500

Nicole Neufeldt, a graduate of Inman High School, plans to major in Business at McPherson College.

Chinberg-Eberle Memorial Nursing Scholarship – $1,000

Samantha Goodell, a current Nursing student at Hutchinson Community College.

Chinberg-Eberle Memorial Nursing Scholarship – $750

Jennifer Stephenson, a current Nursing student at Wichita State University.

Chinberg-Eberle Memorial Nursing Scholarship – $500

Caley Johnson, a graduate of Canton-Galva High School, plans to major in Pre-Med at Emporia State University.

Kyle Jefferson McMannis Scholarship – $500 each

Kayla Haase, a graduate of Wichita Northwest High School, plans to major in Business at Wichita State University.

Breanna Towers, a graduate of St. John High School, plans to major in Nursing at Barton Community College.

Kansas American Tooling Scholarship – $550

Ty Hart, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Electrical Engineering and Computers at Hutchinson Community College.

Gary McNaul Memorial Scholarship – $500

Abigail Hughes, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Health & Human Performance at Fort Hays State University.

Bob Hooper MHS Basketball Scholarship – $500

Kyler Kinnamon, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Sports Therapy at Fort Hays State University.

Troy D Hostetler Memorial Scholarship – $500

Blayne Konrade, a graduate of Inman High School, plans to major in Pre-Physical Therapy at Kansas State University.

First Christian Church Educational Scholarship – $200

Caley Johnson, a graduate of Canton-Galva High School, plans to major in Pre-Med at Emporia State University.

Jay L. Frazier Scholarship – $1,000 each

Michael McKinney, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Agriculture/Animal Science & Industry at Kansas State University.

Rovie Ann Napoto, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Nursing at Hutchinson Community College.

Gary McNaul Memorial Scholarship – $500

Kimberlee Strawn, a graduate of McPherson High School, plans to major in Nursing at Emporia State University.

SAL Scholarship – $500

Nicole Neufeldt, a graduate of Inman High School, plans to major in Business at McPherson College.
