Foundation Releases $195,000 in June

The McPherson County Community Foundation and the Moundridge Foundation have announced their grant recipients for June 2025. This cycle the Foundation released over $195,000 to organizations across the county. These distributions came from four different community funds.

McPherson County Community Foundation General Grants:

McPherson Senior Center – Safety Flooring Request – $10,000

Windom Senior Center- Equipment – $700

Kansas Learning Center for Health – Creating a Healthier Tomorrow – $8,000

Bluestem Pace – Bariatric Wheelchairs – $4,000

Outreach McPherson – Meeting the urgent need for beds for children and adults living in poverty – $4,500

Marquette Learning Center -New Playground Toys – $6,000

USD 419 – Trauma Informed Professional Development – $400

David J. Nutt Fund Grants:

Lindsborg Community Library – Library Building Heritage Room Furnishings – $17,000

Marquette Learning Center – Playground Equipment – $10,000

Costume Project – Sustainable Solutions for Cultural Preservation – $5,565

Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum – Main Building Roof Project – $104,000 *Grant tabled from 2025 Legacy Grant Round*

Moundridge Community Foundation Grants:

Mirror – STAND – $5,000

Moundridge Food Pantry – Door and Window Update – $6,600

West Zion Mennonite Church – Moundridge Youth Ministries Meals – $1,600

Mercy Hospital – Improving Emergency Room environment of Care – $10,000

Associated ministries – Associated Ministries Bible School – $1,650

Marquette Community Foundation Grants:

Marquette Chamber of Commerce– Marquette Main Street Sidewalks – $1,000
