28 Aug Mastermind Grants Open Now Through Sept. 30
The McPherson County Community Foundation (MCCF) is now accepting applications for its Mastermind McPherson County grant process. Applications are open through Sept. 30 for county nonprofits, government entities and community groups.
To be considered, projects must address one of the key priorities identified in the Mastermind McPherson County survey. Priorities vary by community. Survey data is available at mcphersonfoundation.org/mastermind-mcpherson-county.
For 2025, MCCF is putting extra focus on projects aimed at addressing community placemaking;
“This year we want to focus on beautification projects,” said Betsy Davis, MCCF director of community development. “We’ve seen this listed as a priority in all of our communities.”
Last year, the Foundation and donor-advised funds held at MCCF awarded nearly $60,000 to community organizations. (Check out an update on these grants here!)
First-time applicants are encouraged to contact Davis at (620) 245-9070 or betsy@mcphersonfoundation.org before applying.
Mastermind McPherson County is a three-step initiative created to help MCCF address community needs through grantmaking. By conducting surveys and community discussions, the Foundation gains a clearer understanding of priorities across the county. This round of funding is part of step three.
