Inman Community Foundation Update:

Inman Community Foundation Update:

It’s been a busy few weeks for the Inman Community Foundation and we want to take this opportunity to share a few updates on our annual grants and of course Match Week 2025…

Match Week Results

A few weeks ago, we wrapped up the Inman Community Foundation Match Week, which included two matching opportunities, one for Inman nonprofits and another for the Inman Community Fund.

We’re thrilled to announce that the Inman community raised $63,820 for participating

nonprofits, unlocking the full $50,000 match from the Patterson Family Foundation.

In addition, the Inman Community Fund received $35,365 in donations, which will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Patterson Family Foundation.

That brings the total raised to $184,550!

A huge thank-you to everyone who donated, volunteered, or helped spread the word. Your generosity continues to strengthen our community.

2025 Grant Awards

Alongside Match Week, the Inman Community Foundation also announced this year’s annual grant recipients. In total, $14,860 was awarded to four local nonprofits.

These funds come from a combination of the Inman Community Fund endowment and matching dollars received from the Patterson Family Foundation during Match Week. All grant applications are reviewed by a committee of Inman residents and approved by the Foundation Board.

Grants Awarded:

  • Inman Recreation Commission – After School Program: $5,000
Supporting after-school care for Kindergarten through 6th grade students from 3:30–6:00 p.m.

  • STEPMC – Site Expansion: $5,000
Launching a new STEPMC site in Inman, bringing poverty-alleviation programs to more families in McPherson County.

  • Inman Senior Center – Enlarged Parking Lot: $4,500
Expanding and resurfacing the parking lot to ensure safe access for seniors using walkers, canes, or mobility aids.

  • Inman Quilters – Fall Weekend Projects at Pleasant View Home: $360
Creating lap quilts, fidget quilts, and quilt shawls for residents as the home’s supply runs low.

Together, these efforts show what’s possible when our community comes together. Thank you for continuing to invest your time, heart, and resources into making Inman stronger every year.
