11 Dec Foundation hosts Childcare Mentor Mixer
Last Saturday the McPherson County Community Foundation hosted their first mentor mixer for local area childcare provider. Through childcare zones, MCCF has been able to partner with Haley Pavlovich from Christ Kids to develop a 12 month mentoring program.
At these mixers participating providers come together and network as well as create something for their classroom. The theme for our first meeting was hot chocolate. Providers made a sensory bin and were given activities and books that coordinate with the sensory bin. and met up and talked with other area, mentor participants.
