18 Dec Phone, Keys… Charitable Giving?

Just as you check your pockets before heading out the door, now is a good time to double-check your charitable giving goals. If the end of the year has come up fast and you are considering a last-minute donation to help offset your 2025 taxes, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Year-end gifts must be completed by Dec. 31. Donations must be on their way to the Foundation by that date. Mailed gifts must be postmarked by Dec. 31.
- Donor-advised fund grants are an easy way to support causes you care about while keeping your giving organized. Making a grant now gives you time to plan your impact while still receiving the charitable tax benefit for this year.
- Gifts to any of MCCF’s funds can be made through the Dec. 31 deadline using our online giving portal at mccf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate.
- We are happy to accept last-minute gifts at our office Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, the office will be closed for the holidays on Dec. 24, Dec. 25 and Dec. 31. Please plan accordingly.
