August is here, and if your year has been anything like ours, it has flown by. As we head into the final months of the year, we have several opportunities to connect with the Foundation. We hope you’ll add a few of these events to your calendar.
Foundation in the House
Foundation in the House is our opportunity to bring Foundation staff into communities across McPherson County. Stop by to ask questions about grants, scholarships, charitable giving, endowments or any of the Foundation’s programs and services. We’ll even buy your morning coffee while we visit.

- Aug. 11 — Marquette, City Sundries, 10 a.m. to noon
- Aug. 25 — Canton Library, 10 to 11 a.m.
- Sept. 8 — Inman, Light House Coffee, 10 a.m. to noon
- Sept. 22 — McPherson, Craft Coffee, 10 a.m. to noon
- Oct. 13 — Moundridge, The Hub, 10 a.m. to noon
- Oct. 27 — Windom Senior Center, 8 to 9 a.m.
- Nov. 10 — Galva, Tin Roof Pantry, 10 a.m. to noon
- Nov. 17 — McPherson, Craft Coffee, 10 a.m. to noon
Foundation in the House will continue into early 2027.
Mastermind McPherson County Focus Groups
We’re halfway through our Mastermind McPherson County focus group series, and there’s still time to participate. These conversations give community members an opportunity to share the challenges and opportunities they see in their hometowns. The priorities identified during each session will help shape future Mastermind McPherson County grants, ensuring Foundation funding is directed toward the needs identified by local residents.

- Moundridge: 6:30 p.m. Aug. 19 | Moundridge Public Library
